According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Kurdistan, Dr. Shahrokh Esmaeili, a faculty member of the Department of Mathematics, has been appointed as the "Head of the Department of Mathematics," effective October 16, 2025, by a decree issued by Dr. Adel Si-o-Se-Marde, President of the University of Kurdistan.

The decree highlights the necessity of synergy, the quantitative and qualitative enhancement of teaching and research, and the overall development of the department.
Furthermore, the President of the University of Kurdistan extended his sincere appreciation to Dr. Mohammad Ali Ardalani for his efforts and services during his tenure in this role.
