According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Kurdistan, the general election to determine the new members of the council was held with a remarkable turnout from university employees.

In this process, university employees elected their representatives from a list of 24 candidates to advocate for their professional interests. The high turnout in this election is indicative of the significance attributed to the Staff Council and the trust placed in its role in improving working and welfare conditions for the staff.

Following the conclusion of the voting and the counting of the ballots, the final election results were communicated to all staff members of the University of Kurdistan.
